📝 Policy 001: Writing Like You Mean It
“If it sounds too safe, it probably isn’t me.”
Purpose:
To ensure every page, post, or review in this system sounds like it was written by a curious human — not a manual from 2002.
🧠Core Style Rules
- Write as if you're talking to someone who wants to read it.
- Blend logic with personality — it’s called the Config Journal, not the Config Whitepaper.
- Every word should pull weight. If it doesn’t spark clarity or charm, cut it.
- Use emojis where they add flavor 🌶️ — but sparingly. A garnish, not the meal.
✍️ Formatting Preferences
- Titles use Title Case Like This
- Keep sentence fragments if they flow. Like this one.
- Use
code backticks for file names or tech references
- Keep paragraphs breathable — if it feels cramped, split it
đźš« Avoid These
- Corporate filler like “leverage,” “synergy,” or “value-add”
- Third-person robot speak (“The user can expect…”)
- Empty lists and stubs unless you're actively filling them out
Violations:
Pages that feel too stale or generic may get flagged for a voice refresh. This isn’t punishment — it’s vibe maintenance.
